Craft Poké Balls from apricorns, live catch rules, and Geodex recipes.

itemspoke-ballstools

22 of 28 balls have a full craft path (lid + button + iron base). No lid recipe: Master, Beast, Cherish, Dream, GS, and Park. Park has a ball recipe, but the lid itself cannot be crafted.

Craft a ball

Shapeless: matching lid + stone button + iron base.

Iron base recipe from three iron ingots

Iron base is a row of 3 iron ingots and yields 5 bases.

Cook the matching apricorn (furnace, smoker, or campfire), then craft the lid.

Ultra Ball2 black + 1 yellow1

Catch rates

Live catch code applies these modifiers. Specialty ball bonuses (Quick, Fast, Love, and the rest) do not change the rate today. Great and Ultra also share the same ball modifier as a Poké Ball.

What does apply:

  • Master Ball and Park Ball always catch.
  • Species capture_rate and remaining HP.
  • Sleep and freeze: 2.5×. Paralysis, poison, toxic, and burn: 1.5×.
  • Catching Charm in the offhand: 2×.
  • Step encounters: 1.5×.
  • Ultra Beasts: 0.1× on every ball, including Beast Ball.
