Leave two compatible Pokémon at the daycare. Come back later for an egg. Warp there from spawn. See locations.
Who can breed
- One male and one female, or anything breedable plus Ditto.
- Same species (or evolutionary line) or the same egg group.
- Genderless Pokémon (Magnemite, Beldum, and similar) only breed with Ditto.
- The baby matches the mother's species on cross-breeds.
These cannot breed. They sit in the Undiscovered egg group:
- Legendaries, Mythicals, Ultra Beasts, Paradox Pokémon, and baby Pokémon.
Exceptions:
- Manaphy and Phione can breed (Water 1 / Fairy) but only with Ditto. The egg is always Phione.

Three setups
Same species
Male Lucario + female Lucario → Riolu egg.
Same egg group
Female Eevee + male Lucario (both Field) → Eevee egg. This is how egg moves and abilities move between species.
Ditto
Ditto covers almost every breedable Pokémon, including genderless ones. It still cannot breed Undiscovered species.
Inheritance items
Give these to a parent before you drop them off.

A Power item locks one IV, two more IVs are pulled from the parents at random, and the rest roll freely.
