With PokéBedrock you can experience a fully functioning battle system, trade with friends, and battle and create your own trainers right from inside the game.

PokéBedrock

A Minecraft Bedrock Pokémon addon made for Pokémon lovers, not affiliated with Game Freak or Mojang AB.

Getting Started:

When you first load in you will be prompted with this GUI to select your starting Pokémon. If you are not prompted with this screen please leave and rejoin, or contact staff inside our discord.

Now whatever you pick, doesn't really matter, as it will be your initial Pokémon. Once you get going you will be able to catch them all, and collect every single Pokémon inside PokéBedrock. Although your starting Pokémon will affect how well you will be able to battle against certain pokémon in your area.

Starting Your Adventure!

Once you spawn in, you will be placed in some location, although some things might be the same as in the normal game. The thing on your right sidebar and the 9th slot in your inventory is different. So I want you to first scroll to your 9th slot and right-click with it.
Once you right click you should be able to hear a noise if you don't no worries, you might just not have your sound on. However, once you crouch and right-click it should pop up a new GUI.

In this screen, you will be able to select an action to perform on your new Pokémon. There are many actions to choose but let's try sending our Pokémon out.

Once you choose to send it out, your Pokémon will spawn in front of you. With this, your Pokémon will follow you around and be your best friend everywhere you go.

Now let's say you wanted to switch its name or check what its current stats are. You can again do that in the same UI by holding the GUI item and shifting and right-clicking on the pokémon you want to select.

Defeating your first Foe!

Now let's say you find a random Pokemon around and you want to catch it. Most of the time throwing a Pokeball won't give you the Pokemon. However, if you lower the Health you have a greater chance of catching the Pokemon. Therefore, fighting it is our best bet. So to do this all you will need to do is HIT the Pokemon in front of you with your GUI.

Now once you do this, you will be prompted with a GUI to pick a Pokemon. If you have more than one Pokemon this UI would matter, but for now, we will just pick our Starting Pokemon.

Once we do this, we will be put into the battle and we can now select a move to perform on the Foe. Or you can try to use a Bag item or even throw a ball to try to catch the Pokemon.

And if you were lucky you should be able to see that Pokemon on your sidebar!

Starting your Conquest

Once you get rolling inside the PokeBedrock addon, it's good to know about all of the included crafting recipes, and other mechanics that are available for you to use.

In this addon, ores will spawn randomly around the map. You can find these in caves, mines, and even in rivers.

These ores will allow you to craft evolution stones, that you can use to evolve your Pokemon.

Then using the stone on a Pokemon you can evolve it

Catching Pokemon

To catch pokemon your going to need balls. Because of this we have made a way of crafting all the balls you would need. Simply look around the world to find Apricorn Trees

When you find them they should look like an oak tree. Simply break the leaves and apricorns should fall.

You can craft an assortment of balls inside the crafting table by using these apricorns to create lids, with those lids you can craft balls.

Healing Your Pokemon

After battles, your pokemon might be hurt or even fainted. To heal them up quickly you can find your self a PokeCenter near by.

Once you find one you will be able to click on the healing machine and heal your Pokemon.

From here you can take the healing machine, or create your own.

Trainers

Trainers are NPC's that spawn around the map. You can interact with these trainers and battle them to compete in a Trainer Vs Player Battle. These are like the wild Pokemon battles but the trainers can have up to 6 different Pokemon.

If you are an operator you will be able to edit the slots, drops, and basic data of these trainers so you can use them to create custom gyms or really hard battles.

Computer (PC)

Your computer is basically your storage for all your non-current Pokemon. These are the Pokemon that are available for you to switch into your party at any moment and use them in battle. You can add a Pokemon into this from the original open screen when you crouch and right-click.

Then once you're in it, you can add it back to your party, and trash the Pokemon.

Custom Armor

There is lots of custom armor and tools added in this addon for you to use. You can find the crafting the in the crafting table. However, this isn't just your regular armor.

For example, firestone gives fire protection to the wearer, and a water stone gives water breathing.

Shrines

There are three different shrines that spawn around the map which are shrine of fiery souls, shrine of frozen souls, and shrine of static souls

However before you can use this shrine, you need to get an orb.

Currently, the only way to get an orb is to get it as a drop from killing a Pokemon. The only Pokemon who drop it is Dialga, Dragonair, Dragonite, and Giratina.

Once you craft an orb, you will notice that it has a damage bar. That damage bar indicated how full the orb is. Once it's completely full you will be able to use it on a shrine. To fill it up simply kill a Pokemon while having the orb in your offhand.

Battling Other Players

Once you have another player in your game you will be able to battle them by typing in chat `-battle <playerName: string>` so for example `-battle "Smell of curry"` will send a battle request to Smell of curry.

If someone else sends you a battle request you should be able to see the request in chat

To accept it do, `-battle accept`

Trade Machine

Trade Machines can be found in the PokeCenter and can be crafted. To use a trade machine simply right-click it and wait for the other person to right-click

Once another person comes, you will be able to select a pokemon to trade

Then, both parties will be able to review the trade

Custom Commands:

PokeBedrock is loaded with custom commands to help you enjoy your Pokemon Adventure, running `-help` will show you all the commands you are able to run.

Big commands like `-slots` allow you to automatically edit the slots of your party. For example, you can give yourself a shiny Mewtwo by doing:

`-slots set "Smell of curry" 1 pokemon:mewtwo 100 true` Where 100 is level, and true is shiny status.

If you are running the addon on a realm, you will need to run:

/scriptevent pokeb:op

Which will give you operator in realms allowing you to run commands.

And that's PokeBedrock!

WARNING We have reports of Windows Defender, categorizing the addon as a Trojan. This is NOT TRUE, and it's because of the obfuscation we have on the code. Please do not complain to us about it being "a virus".

Once you have the addon added to your world and resource pack. Make sure to enable ALL experimentals!

Additionally, the addon might not work on low-end devices because of Minecraft's lack of support for Script API on these devices!
